Zetangas' work seems to occupy it own plane of reality. Self-made pedals, crazy oscillators, customized gear, the controllable space of the home studio are signatures of this small, independent, mobile, intelligent unit. On his third release, Zetangas further consolidates his disconcertingly amazing stylistic traits: the clean guitar tone laced with demented touches of Surreal analog electronics and firmly held by tight rhythms, the cascading arpeggios chasing each other, echoing with the nostalgia of half-sleep, the solitary halls of mirrors and Escheresque labyrinths conjured by his detailed guitar work. Sharp and concise at 23 minutes, despite its intense dreaminess, this 6 instrumentals are an invitation to abandon everything and take to the road to the infinite, and join its author on the other side of the mirror. An endless adventure...an endless passion...an endless banquet.
